Marching Band
The Basics
Who: Anyone who wants to join (instrumentalists who play band instruments are encouraged to join the band proper, drumline, or pit / other musicians or non-musicians encouraged to join Colorguard).
What: Band ensemble that marches while playing themed music. We perform at a variety of events and compete.
Where: Rehearsals occur at Manchester High School.
When: Mondays from 2:30 - 4PM, Tuesdays from 6 PM - 8:30 PM, and Fridays from 2:30 - 4PM with most football games starting at 6 PM. Competitions occur on select Saturdays (see our calendar) and performance opportunities are intermittent.
Why: Because it's amazing experience you'll never forget.

What is Marching Band?
Marching band is a musical ensemble that performs at football games, parades, festivals, competitions, and more. It is comprised of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments as well as the Colorguard. This ensemble is open to anyone who would like to perform.
What is Colorguard?
Colorguard is the primary visual section of the Marching Band. Colorguard members perform using flags and other props while utilizing techniques in dance, theatre, gymnastics, and more. We are open to anyone who would like to perform in our section. There is also a Colorguard-only performing season in Winter/Spring called Winterguard.
How do I join?
You should fill out 2022 Interest form by clicking the red button below. When you have completed the form, please click one of the buttons that pertain to your interest in the band below and let a staff member know that you're interested!
